The challenge
After over 70 years of growth, Israeli society is immersed in a deep crisis of confidence, a great and unsolved challenge derives therefrom: Full and successful integration of the Arabs into Israeli society.
The reason for the crisis of confidence, in our understanding, is not the lack of plans or efforts, but the lack of a movement in the spirit of Atidna, which boldly addresses the Arab-Jewish majority interested in such integration.
Our voice is clear: The time has come for Arab leadership, which will abandon separatism and lead to successful integration, and the time has come for the Jewish public in Israel, as well as its political leadership, to see the Arab citizens as full partners in the further construction of the Israeli state and society, now and in the future.
Together – Arabs and Jews – we will work to strengthen the State of Israel for the sake of all of us.
Atidna is a courageous partnership
Atidna movement is a non-profit organization, established in 2018 in order to provide solution to the above challenge. We, Israeli educators, society and entrepreneurship, believe that true integration will only begin when all of us, Arabs and Jews alike, will see the Arab Israeli public as an equal partner in a Jewish and democratic state.
We, the Arabs and the Jews
Joined together to build an impeccable society in Israel, to fight the harsh voices inside us and to encourage the spirits of reconciliation in the small streets and high windows, among the public and the establishment.
We know how difficult the task is and understand that these statements will still be tested in difficult times. Nevertheless, we have joined together to spread this consensus and realize it at the symbolic level, and more than that, on a practical level.
Before our eyes we see a peaceful, successful and trusting country, which maintains an internal equilibrium within it, in which its identity does not shadows its equality, and its equality does not detract from its identity.

Leadership crisis
The State of Israel is suffering from an ongoing leadership crisis that harms the country’s social resilience and intensifies the rift between the Arab and Jewish citizens of Israel. The Arab leadership encourages separatism, and the Jewish leadership does not provide an accessible platform for those who wish to integrate.

Political tone
Most of the initiatives that currently exist carry an extreme political tone which discourages broad audiences from joining them, both in the Arab public and in the Jewish public.

Effective work plan
In order to provide an effective response to the challenges of partnership and integration, any effective work plan must include:

⦁ Reference and response to both the personal dimension and the national/civil dimension
